Tune into Zoom and join in the discussion as we read and discuss together Rachel Held Evans/ most recent book, Wholehearted Faith, Mondays January 31, February 7, and 14, at 7pm.
Rachel was working on this book about wholeheartedness at the time of her death. Author Jeff Chu, Rachel’s close friend, has worked to put together this collection of unpublished pieces that address questions about our faith, ourselves, and our world. The jacket describes the book as being for “the doubter and the dreamer, the seeker and the sojourner, those who long for a sense of spiritual wholeness, as well as those who have been hurt by the church but can’t seem to let go of the story of Jesus… An unforgettable, moving, and intimate book.”
Wholehearted Faith is available through most booksellers, or contact Pastor Joanne if have trouble finding a copy. We will begin on January 31 with pages 1-78. Please contact Pastor Joanne if you have any questions. Mark your calendars for these spirit-filled, honest, and wholehearted reflections on what it is to be called “Christian.” You will find the information for joining the Zoom call in the weekly worship email.
