St. Francis is known for sharing his love of God’s creation, especially animals that enrich our lives so deeply. October is the month we celebrate St. Francis, and has become the traditional month for giving thanks for the pets we love and who share their love with us. Join us in giving thanks for our 4-legged, slithering, crawling friends as we celebrate the Blessing of the Animals, Sunday afternoon October 2, at 4:00. Bring your beloved pets as we gather on the lawn in the front of the church (or in the Fellowship Hall in case of rain) and share together our love and God’s blessing for all of creation! A reception for both humans and pets will follow.
